NALEO Educational Fund Election 2024 Data and Research Hub
As the second-largest segment of the United States citizen voting-age population, Latinos are once again poised to play a decisive role in the outcome of the upcoming presidential elections. This year, NALEO Educational Fund projects that 17.5 million Latino voters nationwide will cast ballots in November, representing a 6.5 percent increase from Election 2020’s Latino voter turnout.
This page houses our most current data on the Latino vote in the 2024 primary and general elections.
2024 National and State Latino Vote Projections
These projections offer a comprehensive analysis of expected Latino voter turnout both nationwide and within key states during this year’s presidential elections.
According to our data, Latinos will once again play a decisive role in the 2024 Election, representing a 6.5 percent increase from Election 2020’s Latino voter turnout and an increase of 38.3 percent from Election 2016, with projected increases in states including California, Florida, New York, and Nevada — a key battleground state and the host location of our NALEO 41st Annual Conference.
The data suggest that the largest increases in Election 2024 turnout, compared with November 2020 numbers, will occur in battleground states — where sustained efforts have historically been made to engage and mobilize Latino voters.
