Dear NALEO Familia,
Thank you for making this year’s Annual Conference an immensely successful and valuable experience!
In joining together and having conversations around the critical issues facing our community and society, you have all helped move these national dialogues forward in a way that brings our perspectives as Latinos to the forefront of our approaches to problem-solving and public policy.
Our community has always manifested resilience in the face of adversity. For generations, Latinos in America have demonstrated the grit, strength, and commitment to hard work, adaptability, and patriotism. I am heartened and proud to see that spirit through the relationships Latino elected and appointed officials have with one another and their dedication to the communities they represent.
This Virtual Conference has given me renewed hope for our future. When the COVID-19 pandemic began to unfold, so much of everyday life was complicated by unprecedented challenges and uncertainty. Our coming together for this Virtual Conference, making sure that we continued our NALEO tradition hosting the largest gathering of Latino elected and appointed officials, once again epitomized our values of resilience, hard work, and adaptability in the face of hardship. You all helped make that possible.
So, again, thank you for joining us and being a part of the NALEO Familia. We look forward to seeing you next year!
