NALEO Educational Fund has been at the forefront of efforts to assist Latinos with the naturalization process and ensure that Latino voters know their rights and have the information necessary to cast ballots on Election Day.

Voter Engagement

In partnership with Common Cause, NALEO Educational Fund created a poll monitoring toolkit that empowers community members and stakeholders with tools and resources to become stronger election administration advocates in their community. The tool kit was utilized in 2013 at poll-monitoring operations in Florida (Miami), New York (New York City), Pennsylvania (Philadelphia), Texas (Houston) and Virginia (Fairfax).  To learn more about the poll monitoring toolkit and download it, visit: www.naleo.org/pollmonitoring

Incorporating lessons learned from the Great Unengaged project, which sought to better understand the nearly 10 million unregistered eligible Latino voters, NALEO Educational Fund also created a micro-targeting tool to support voter engagement campaigns. By providing groundbreaking research on effective messages, messengers, and mediums, our organization is helping institutions, organizations, and election administration agencies across the country more effectively reach Latino voters.
